Beginners Herbalism Program

An Energetic Perspective

In this program we will focus on a framework for approaching herbalism and plant relationships through an energetic and ethical lens. We will center anti-oppression concepts as a core component to this program. We will spend our time together slowing down in plant meditation, being in and talking about our bodies, lecturing as well as engaging in discussion with one another, and doing activities in the skills building portion of this program.

Skills we will develop in this program include: herbal medicine making techniques and tools for, ideas about ethically sourcing herbs, plant identification, energetic approach to herbalism, flower and environmental medicine making, plant mediation technique and building intuitive skills around plant relations, materia medica, and plant actions in the body.

This program is appropriate for both beginners as well as folks with experience working with plants looking to delve deeper into the plant spirit and energetic components of herbalism.


$525 is the cost of the program

This program will be held in Olympia on Nisqually and Squaxin territory, with some off site plant walks and farm/garden visits. For folks without cars we will be carpooling off site. The exact location of the class will be announced shortly.

Time and Dates

This program will be offered October 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st and November 7th, 14th. Days will run 1-6pm for a total 30 hours of class time


Basic tools needed for note taking: pens, pencils, notebook

Some additional supplies such as small amounts of alcohol, apple cider vinegar, honey, oils and jars will be needed for the class. This list will be sent upon registration to the class.
