Beginners Herbalism Program

An Energetic Perspective

In this program we will focus on a framework for approaching herbalism and plant relationships through an energetic and ethical lens. We will center anti-oppression concepts as a core component to this program. We will spend our time together slowing down in plant meditation, being in and talking about our bodies, lecturing as well as engaging in discussion with one another, and doing activities in the skills building portion of this program.

Skills we will develop in this program include: herbal medicine making techniques and tools for, ideas about ethically sourcing herbs, plant identification, energetic approach to herbalism, flower and environmental medicine making, plant mediation technique and building intuitive skills around plant relations, materia medica, and plant actions in the body.

While most of the content of these classes will be taught by Fern, we will be hosting guest teachers throughout the 7 weeks.

This program is appropriate for both beginners as well as folks with experience working with plants looking to learn more about the energetics.
