A Talk on Devils Club.  We will begin this class with a plant meditation with Devils Club tincture and hold space for those interested in sharing their experience. I will discuss both practical application for physical use as well as energetic and spiritual indications of Devils Club. We will also talk about how to create a code of ethics and engage in reciprocity when interacting with this wild and sacred indigenous plants. This talk is appropriate for both beginner and advanced levels of herbalism.

Managing Chronic Pain with herbs and essences

Boundaries: Gatekeepers to wellness

Boundaries are an essential component to healthy relationships with others and ourselves in this world. In this class we will explore what energetic and emotional boundaries are, how to identify those boundaries, and why we need them to stay healthy and vibrant. We will cover herbs as well as flower and environmental essences that teach us to identify, enforce and maintain good energetic and physical boundaries. This class will also include a meditation with a plant that is associated with the creation and enforcement of boundaries

Plants As People: How to connect to the spirit of plants using energetic medicines. 

The lands we live on and plants we interact with are very much alive and influencing us in a continual way. In this class we will explore how to connect to and hear plants. We will discuss what it means to be in reciprocity with plants in order to enhance these relationships, and how respectful plant interactions can enhance the way we experience the world. We will do a plant meditation and discuss essences to aid in these connections.

Medicine For the healing heart

The modern world does little to foster a relaxed, properly boundaries, open heart -despite the vital need for this. In this class we will explore how identify needs of the energetic and emotional heart, and how to be in your heart center. We will do guided and plant meditations for accessing this part of yourself and learn skills for softening and opening to the possibility of healing here. This class will include tools and exercises, as well as herbs and essences for doing this work. Each participant with go home with recipes and written exercises for expanding this work.
